My Church Family
One of the things that Alice and I have really enjoyed since becoming part of this church is the intergenerational focus. “Our church really appreciates kids,” Alice reflected one day after we attended a service at another church, at which kids were shuffled in and out like a small stampede to which the adults gave a wide berth.
A New Logo for Church of Our Saviour
One of our priorities for the year was to clarify how Church of Our Saviour tells our story through words, images, and symbols. Christians have always done this: think of the power of color, shape, and icon (e.g., the cross) in shaping our faith traditions.

A Virtual Organ for Our Saviour
The Rodgers 32-B electronic organ that has served us for 60 years has come to the end of its life. I have always thought of the Rodgers organ as a marvel of postwar electronic technology, and in the process of taking it apart, my appreciation has grown.
