Palm Sunday, Apr. 10, 10 a.m. In-person and Zoom service
Process with a (real!) donkey down Mass Ave., waving palm branches, then return to church for the story of Jesus’ journey to the cross. This is an intergenerational service.
Maundy Thursday, Apr. 14, 7:30 p.m. In-person and Zoom Eucharist (YouTube TBD)
With ritual stripping of the altar. Optional foot washing (pending diocesan permission). Meditation opportunity to follow until 9 p.m.
Good Friday, Apr. 15
5:30 p.m. In-person All-Ages Good Friday Service with the Godly Play story of Jesus’ final days in Jerusalem.
7:30 p.m. In-person and Zoom service (YouTube TBD)
Traditional service with space to silently lay down your prayers and burdens at the foot of the cross. Those worshiping from home are invited to have a cross nearby and paper for writing.
Easter, Sun. Apr. 17
8:30 a.m. In-person Intergenerational Service (Zoom TBD). Like at our Godly Play Christmas Eve service, children place figures in an Easter “crèche” as we sing and tell the resurrection story.
10:30 a.m. In-person, Zoom, and YouTube service. Traditional Easter Sunday service.
