A Welcoming Community

Welcome! People arrive at Church of Our Saviour for many reasons …

  • Some are new to Arlington and are in search of a church where they will find a home.
  • Some are in the area temporarily for work or studies and are looking for a spiritual community.
  • Some are seeking a progressive, welcoming church that is also grounded in a strong tradition.
  • Some are looking for a spiritual community where they and their particular kind of family will not be the only ones like them.
  • Some are want to reach out to those who are in need and to give back to the wider community.
  • Some are facing new challenges or new losses and need spiritual strength for the journey.
  • Some desire innovative worship.
  • Some desire a closer relationship with God.

Whatever your reason, you are welcome here.

This website is intended as a window into the community that is Church of Our Saviour. You will find information about our services and programs, about our activities for children, and our efforts to reach out to others. Beyond that you will read stories of our life together as a spiritual community which tell you a bit about who we are. What makes us really want to be here, however, lies beyond these pages in the warmth and care of the people who make this their church.

We hope you will join us on Sunday morning and consider making Church of Our Saviour your spiritual home.

Wherever you are or have been on your spiritual journey, you are welcome here.

Visit us. We are located at 21 Marathon Street, one block east of Mass Ave. near the Cambridge/Arlington border. We have a wheelchair-accessible entrance (with an elevator), but do not yet have accessible bathrooms.

Introduce yourself to the rector, say hello to the greeter as you come in, and if you like, fill out a newcomer card found in the pew and someone will give you a call.
